St. Joseph Our Patron Saint
St. Joseph, the Patron and Mediator of our School, is venerated as a great Saint in various Christian churches. In Catholic traditions, St. Joseph is regarded as the patron saint of workers and is associated with various feast days. The month of March is dedicated to Saint Joseph and especially 19th of March is observed as the feast day of St. Joseph. We the St. Joseph’s Family, the Sanjoseans, celebrate this day as our feast day. Wish you All a very blessed Feast of St Joseph. Pope Pius IX declared him to be both the patron and the protector of the Catholic Church, in addition to his patronages of the sick and of a happy death, due to the belief that he died in the presence of Jesus and Mary. Joseph has become patron of various dioceses, schools, institutions and places. Being a patron saint of virgins, he is venerated as & quot;most chaste".A specific veneration is tributed to the most chaste and pure heart of Saint Joseph. St. Joseph is known as a beloved father; as a tender and loving father; as an obedient father; as an accepting father; as a creatively courageous father; as a working father, and as a “father in the shadows.” Because of his special role as foster-father of the Child Jesus, St. Joseph has merited single privileges in heaven unmatched by any saint except the Blessed Virgin Mary. Sacred Scripture describes St. Joseph as “a Just man” which can also be translated as “righteous,” “upright,” or, “he who is virtuous in all things.” If we want to learn from St. Joseph, we must begin by imitating the virtues he practiced daily in his quiet, hidden life.
